Systemic practitioners have a great deal to offer the world of schools and education.  This is an opportunity to share practice and develop relationships with others with a passion for this crucial work. It will provide an opportunity to share practice, news on policy developments, build relationships and networks; and consider how the systemic community can promote systemic ideas and values to influence future school and educational policy and practice.

    Alastair is currently systemic psychotherapist in a CAMHS Social Care Team. He was previously Joint Service Lead for the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service, having worked in a wide range of social work and CAMHS settings. He was an advisor on the NICE Quality Standard Committee on physical and mental wellbeing in schools, and served as a school Chair of Governors. He qualified as a Systemic Psychotherapist with IFT, where he is a Trustee and Chair of the Ethics Committee. He is a member of AFT’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee and co-edited an edition of Context exploring systemic practice in schools.
