Systemic practitioners have a great deal to offer the world of schools and education. This is an opportunity to share practice and develop relationships with others with a passion for this crucial area.
This Community of Practice session will build on previous meetings held in 2021 and 2022. It will provide an opportunity to share practice, news on policy developments, build relationships and networks; and consider how the systemic community can promote systemic ideas and values to influence future school and educational policy and practice.

Alastair PearsonCPD Contributor
Alastair is currently systemic psychotherapist in a CAMHS Social Care Team. He was previously Joint Service Lead for the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service, having worked in a wide range of social work and CAMHS settings. He was an advisor on the NICE Quality Standard Committee on physical and mental wellbeing in schools, and served as a school Chair of Governors. He qualified as a Systemic Psychotherapist with IFT, where he is a Trustee and Chair of the Ethics Committee. He is a member of AFT’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee and co-edited an edition of Context exploring systemic practice in schools.
