Description

The Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) is one of the best-known and most highly regarded therapy and training organisations in the UK, offering high quality family systemic psychotherapy training. More recently, IFT has developed a bold mission statement centering Justice, Relationships, Hope.

In addition to training people to become family systemic psychotherapists, IFT has years of experience delivering bespoke training that embeds systemic ideas into the abilities of a wide range of leaders and people-facing professionals, supporting them in their clinical work and supporting them to better understand and work with organisational and social issues.

IFT is also developing partnerships with other agencies in order to engage in systemic practice that has a direct social impact on marginalised communities. One such partnership is with the children’s charity CORAM.

IFT are looking for an experienced, inspired and inspiring Family Systemic Psychotherapist and trainer to be part of an exciting project with the Dept. for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and Dept. for Education Supporting Families Systemic Family Therapy Pilot Study with Coram.

You will be part of a ground breaking research trial and be connected to government policy development in ways that can impact workers and families, and the systemic family therapy profession, for many years to come.
