Elisabeth Smith is the Membership Administrator here at IFT. She works at IFT part time on Tuesday and Friday (membership@ift.org.uk)
Her job entails handling any new IFT membership applications, keeping members’ records and contact details up to date, despatch of email newsletters, dealing with any membership and UKCP queries, and processing members’ annual re-accreditation with UKCP.

She also assists regarding IFT’s Library and, if she has time available, is happy to give a hand where her colleagues need any help.

She joined IFT many, many years ago and started in Families at Risk(closed long ago) in New Cavendish Street and for a number of years administered IFT’s Organisation Stress Service.

All these activities mean personal dealings with a variety of professionals which she does enjoy. She is truly impressed at the amount of complex and intense work members have to cope with on top of complying with CPD and busy family commitments.
