Specialist Clinician at Achieving for Children, Clinical Supervisor, Family & Systemic Psychotherapist

Emma is a Systemic Psychotherapist and Systemic Supervisor registered with the UKCP and AFT. She has worked for many years in a variety of settings including adult and child mental health within the NHS, criminal justice organisations; and within the social care sector of a local authority. Emma  is trained in the Marlborough Multi-Family Therapy Model has experience in facilitating multi family therapy groups within a SEN Secondary School. She currently works as a Family Therapist / Specialist Clinician for a CAMHS Tier 2 service within Achieving for Children, South-West London, providing consultations to social workers within an Adolescent Contextual Safeguarding Service, and offering assessments and treatment for children and families.

 

Emma has a particular interest in attachment narratives and the impact of trauma in family relationships and is keen to develop the use of EMDR within a family therapy context.
