Jeanne Ziminski has a background in generic and CAMHS social work, undertaking her systemic psychotherapy training at IFT and the Tavistock Centre, where she qualified in 1999. She completed her doctorate in systemic psychotherapy in 2004 and has subsequently published on her thesis topic: ‘negotiating dilemmas in the kinship care of children’. In 2007 she completed her supervisor’s training at the Tavistock Centre and published on her dissertation topic, peer relationships in live supervision teams in 2000. Jeanne worked for many years as a systemic psychotherapist in a CAMHS team in South London and is currently a systemic psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer at the Prudence Skynner Family & Couple Therapy Clinic. She is also a supervisor in private practice. Jeanne has a long standing personal and professional interest in visual impairment and its impact on individuals and families. Her current interests include working with couples within an adult mental health setting.
