Joanne Hipplewith is a Clinical Supervisor on years 3 and 4 of the MSc Family Therapy course. Joanne joined IFT in September 2019. She has considerable experience of working across both health and social care in a range of roles, including as a Social Worker, Approved Mental Health Professional, Team and Service Manager across children’s, adults and older adult teams. She specialised in Mental Health with adults and children and currently works as a Senior Family Therapist in a CAMHs in Social Care team. Joanne has a small private practice including a family therapy clinic which offers low-cost, high-quality family therapy to local communities. 

She is currently a second-year PDSP Doctoral Candidate at the University of Bedfordshire, where she is exploring culture and identity.
