Natalie Shoreman

Systemic and Family Psychotherapist / Rapid Response Family Practitioner, Hammersmith & Fulham

Natalie is an experienced family mediator and specialist parenting practitioner who started her work with families and young people as a residential worker in children’s homes. Natalie now specialises in working to support families at the ‘edge of care’. Inspired by early work as a residential manager, she really believes in supporting families to develop skills so they can stay and grow together wherever possible.

Completing her MSc in systemic family therapy in 2020 built on her varied toolbox of skills and is something she has very much enjoyed being able to bring to her current family work in a local authority. This often includes finding creative ways to help families who find service engagement and sharing their views difficult. Natalie has recently begun offering family therapy as part of a reflecting team in her professional arena and offering therapy privately to families and individuals.

Natalie has a keen interest in ‘walking the walk’ when it comes to practice equality and a belief that class is an often under considered social difference that organises all of our lived experiences. By bringing limiting social constructs to attention and account, she is passionate that through dialogue horizons can be broadened.
