Outline of Tutor Role for Certificate and Intermediate Certificate:

• To run tutor groups during the academic year for trainees using experiential and didactic methods as appropriate.
• To provide at least one tutorial of 20 minutes for trainees in your tutor group per term.
• To give lectures and workshops as required.
• To attend staff meetings as required.
• To attend a yearly staff development session with tutors across the two courses.
• To mark written assignments online for trainees and liaise with a second marker where necessary, and to provide feedback to trainees and ensure marks are returned to trainees and IFT admin by the deadlines set.

There are 18 days over the course of the year.

Twice a month, from October to June with an induction afternoon on at the end of September. Combination of online and in person training (50/50 split)

Foundation course – Mondays 10am-4pm Intermediate course – Wednesdays 10am-4pm

Hourly Rate: £45.00

Marking rate per assignment: £30

Example fee calculation:

70-83 Hours @ £45/hour = £3,150.00 ~ £3,735.00

Maximum 42 First submission Assignments @ £30 = £1,260.00 Approximate fee due: £4,410.00 ~ £4,995.00
