Membership
As of 1 October, IFT has merged with Family Action. As a result, we are moving away from the membership model and are in the process of updating these pages. You may still join IFT in a similar capacity and receive similar benefits, but would not hold voting rights. However, you would still be able to help shape IFT through regular contact and discussions (i.e., discussion panels)
Being a member of IFT offers a wealth of opportunities and benefits to support your professional growth as a therapist. These include a range of fee reductions, access to various resources, early notification of career opportunities, and more.
As an IFT member you continue to receive:
reduced fees at workshops and conferences
regular email updates and newsletters
advanced notification of teaching and clinical opportunities
opportunity to apply for UKCP registration via the IFT UKCP committee (if not already registered)
invitations to special members meetings
The Institute of Family Therapy is dedicated to supporting its members in their professional growth and development. The benefits listed above are just a few of the ways we strive to achieve this goal. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities and make the most of your membership. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for being a valued member of the IFT community.
