Joanne Hipplewith, one of IFT’s Clinical Supervisors for the MSc Family Therapy course, had the opportunity to share her expertise on family therapy with BBC Radio 4 listeners in Woman’s Hour last week.
We are well aware that many families are going through very emotional, often painful, shocking and tough times. Breakdowns in family relationships have become even more prevalent during Covid-19, with divorce having increased by 42% during lockdown (March to May). Joanne filled listeners in on the dos and don’ts of ending a relationship in a way that minimises the impacts on all members of the family.
